Note to Web Readers: All responses and rebuttals are first sent via e-mail. We have tight timelines for responses and rebuttals to be sent in. While the web site is in great shape, some of our e-mail functions (which we find essential for a successful event) caused some delays which resulted in the reduced number of rebuttals. Blame us not the candidates in this case.
To: MN-FORUM E-mail Audience
You should be receiving the rebuttals on the first question right after this message. Due to our previous technical difficulties a number of candidates did not have the promised nor the adequate amount time to develop rebuttals (which are optional, but encouraged overall). We will keep on schedule. We expect a full set of rebuttals after the next set of question responses. The Question 2 responses will be distributed on Wednesday with the rebuttals distributed on Thursday. The main E-Debate page is frequently updated. It now includes links to the full archive of previous posts (and slightly updated posts not sent via e-mail) and places on the web to discuss the E-Debate. We will be back with more details on these and other interaction opportunities. Visit the web site at: http://www.e-democracy.org/1998 We are amazed, MN-FORUM now has 300 direct subscribers and around 3000 users have visited the main 1998 web page so far. The partnership approach and media coverage is really helping spread the word. Do your part and tell a friend about the E-Debate. Thank you for being a part of E-Debate 98. The E-Debate Team
