Minnesota E-Democracy is a non-partisan citizen-based project, whose mission is to improve participation in democracy in Minnesota through the use of information networks.  This special 1997 election project has the support of a number co-sponsors.

Minneapolis Mayor Debate on RealAudio®

The live RealAudio® feed of the debate will start at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 28. After the debate you will be able to listen to an archive of the full debate or pick only the issues you are interested in.

You will need a "Plug-in" for your Web browser to hear the debate (and a computer with sound capabilities--forexample, a Windows/Intel computer with a sound card or any Macintosh). Below is a link to the Real.com web site where you can download a free version of the plug-in. When doing so, we recommend picking a "Previous Version" not the beta version of release 5.0. Then follow the instructions provided at the site:

• In the Metro area, it will be on Metro Cable Network, Channel 6 on Wednesday, October 29 at 9:00 PM.
• In Minneapolis it will be on Wednsday, October 29 at 5:00 PM and Saturday, November 1 at 9:00 PM on channel 32, Minneapolis Telecommunications Network.
