The Secretary of State, State Treasurer, State Auditor and Attorney General
are elected for 4-year terms. They are officers of the executive
department. To qualify for these offices the person must be a qualified
voter, 21 years old and elected by the people.

I would: promote a proportional democracy; attempt to dissolve the two
party system to provide representation for everyone; increase the
difficulty of incumbent's names appearing on the ballot each election;
encourage s pecial interest groups to run candidates instead of influencing
representatives; reduce, distribute evenly, or eliminate the state's
funding of campaigns.

leadership.

offering to the media an unbiased assessment of money bills going through
the state legislature.

personal liberties, and to make substance laws reflect toxicity of said
substances.

- End the war on drugs being
waged on the poor, people of color and unprotected people. This war in
Minnesota is orchestrated through the Attorney General's Office.
Immediately help the legislature overturn our state sodomy statute which is
the basis for hate and discrimination against Gays and Lesbians, this
statute also stops effective AIDS prevention.
